Responsibilities:

Instructor – Teaching duties include Introduction to Programming using Visual Basic for IS and IT students, Freshmen Seminar, and CIS 150/250 Service Learning courses.

Recruiter – As the Recruiting Coordinator for our School, I work with high school students who are considering attending USA for their undergraduate work as well as students who are looking at joining our Graduate School.

Internship Coordinator – I also have the opportunity of working with local businesses to create internship opportunities for our students to gain real-world experience that supplements their classroom knowledge.

SoC Orientation Leader – Welcoming students into our School is one of my favor parts of my job. During orientation sessions, I inform our students about the School, our degrees, and help get them started along their educational path at USA.

Advisor – As an advisor to both Information Systems students as well as SoC General Studies students, I work with students to determine which classes they need to enroll in and attempt to keep them on track so they don’t end up taking classes they don’t necessarily need to complete their studies.
