Welcome to the School of Computing.
| The world economy is increasingly driven by computing. The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that by 2018 computing occupations in the United States will grow by 21 percent or about 800,000 new jobs – |
| more than double the growth rate of all other occupations in the United States. As a DoD/DHS designated Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and with an advisory board comprised of Mobile’s largest technology companies, our graduates not only get jobs, they have a variety of employment options. |
We offer cutting edge academic programs in mainstream Computing, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare Information Systems. Courses include data mining, digital forensics, risk assessment, game development, network security and more.
| Thank you again for visiting our web site. Whether you are a prospective student, parent, or alumni we hope you will visit us here in our new home in Shelby Hall and let us show you around. |
